Having food allergies is a foodie’s worst nightmare.  During my first allergy test when I was very young, I tested positive for a peanut butter allergy. As I got older, my food allergy spreaded beyond peanut butter.  Today, I am also allergic to crab, lobster, certain types of spices, milk, and I think, iodine-rich foods.

Amidst of talking on the cell phone, fumbling over the radio controls, and shaving (or putting on make-up) while you drive, there’s one more distraction to send yourself and others into impending doom. Maplin, a British company that can be seen as the equivalent to Radio Shack in the States, is selling a microwave for the car.

You can breathe a sigh of relief if you can’t or don’t eat dairy or cheese products. Turtle Mountain’s SO Delicious Dairy Free Ice Cream has come to the rescue! Made with soymilk and other organic ingredients, the ice cream is creamy and retains that great ice cream flavor. A nice concept indeed, but they look way too uncomfortable to use. I hold my chopsticks three-quarters of the way up from the bottom. The upper half seems to be too flat and too non-ergonomical to handle. At $22.00 a pair, I would expect it to pick up the food for me. These chopsticks are touted as the world’s first set of bamboo folding chopsticks. Hopefully they’re not the last.
