Not my kitchen, not even close.
Here’s a 2009 food trend that hits close to home. With the economy in the pits and with many people cutting back on their dining entertainment budgets, home-made comfort foods and indoor kitchen experimentation has made a comeback. As a home cook, I think this is a great way of controlling expenses. Plus, I get more satisfaction in eating my own recipes and experimenting in the kitchen than going out to some 5-star restaurant and dropping a wad of cash.

It’s time for some useless information for your brain. Last week, I came across a video on a rare blue lobster discovery in Toronto, Canada. It so happens that around one in every two million lobsters are blue. The blue color is caused by a genetic defect that makes the lobster produce an overabundance of protein. My food allergy test has been moved to next monday. I will be taking an allergy skin test of 50 food allergens, as well as a blood test for 10 other food allergens. So stay tuned, I’m extremely curious of what the results are going to be.
