I’m Lovin’ It – The Crave For McDonald’s In Malaysia

With its standardized menu, recognizable golden arch, and broad base of customers, McDonald’s owns the world’s largest fast food chain of restaurants.  Being far away from New York, I was craving for some of McDonald’s goodness. For lunch, I decided to head over to the McDonald’s near my current location, Puchong, Malaysia.
At the McDonald’s drive-through in Tesco, Puchong, Malaysia, I ordered the McChicken and Double CheeseBurger McValue Meals. At the pick up window, I was surprised by the total of my order. The total came to RM 12.50, which is …

This post is a month past due. That’s because I just got the pictures over the weekend. On President’s Day Weekend, I went up to Vermont for some snowboarding action at Mt. Snow. The snowboarding was great, but the people I hung out with were even better. And do you know what was even better than that? Half of the people I met there were foodies just like me! I think there were a total of 23 of us in …

Is ’sashimied’ even a word? Regardless, you probably know what I mean. I went on a day trip to Delhi in upstate New York yesterday to visit my uncle, aunt, and cousins. It was my second time visiting them up there in 27 years, the first time being 10 years old or so. I thought that we were all going to have dinner at my uncle’s house, but in fact, he took us to this Japanese restaurant for dinner. It’s called Tuna 3 and it is located in Delhi, New …

Up in Vermont this past weekend, a handful of people were playing this game called ‘Chubby Bunny.’ Apparently, it’s a well-known game around campfires where a person says the phrase, “Chubby Bunny” with increasing amounts of marshmallows being stuffed in the mouth. The person who manages to say the phrase with the most amount of marshmallows in the mouth wins. From what I saw, the game can get pretty messy, so please, remember to bring napkins.

I’m going to Vermont this weekend with a group of friends and a group of people I never met before for some snowboarding and much needed relaxation. We’ll be staying in a three story lodge that looks to have a kick-ass kitchen. While I’m not in charge of the menu, I realize how difficult it is to plan meals for a large group of people these days, especially with different people following different meal regiments and requirements. While I don’t have any particular gripe on the proposed …

Apa Khabar (How are you) Everyone!
Breakfast in Malaysia isn’t your typical your omelet, bacon and toast with a glass of milk or juice. In Malaysia, we usually have heavy breakfast. We need all those extra energy as we are Hardworking people! Plus the weather here is hot and humid year round. What ever we ingest will be burned and evaporated through our sweat! =)
So, for breakfast I ordered Loh Mein, Beef tripe Noodle and Wonton Mee with Mushroom and Chicken Feet. You might be wondering, why they food looks …

From Malaysia with love….
After countless frustration with the internet – which I will spare the details, I have finally been able to post my first post on Malaysian food. The other night, I went clubbing at this cub named Poppy. It was not too bad. The complaints I have were that, it is not smoke free (cough cough) and the girls are not too friendly =/
After the club we went to look for food and guess what we found. We found the best “after-party” food – Mamak! In New York …
