American chef Aaron McCargo is hoping that bold versions of American comfort food will appeal to new fans.

The 37-year-old New Jersey native won his own show, “Big Daddy’s House”, on the Food Network in a grueling television competition last year. The second season, which started in January, features his twists on familiar fares like hamburgers and Buffalo chicken wings.

Update: I received some additional information on the season premiere.
The new season of Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations premieres on January 5th at 10pm EST on the Travel Channel.  It’s one of my favorite food shows and it makes me wonder why I’m stuck in the burbs of North Jersey and not traveling the world to experience the wonderful food.
