This is my first mobile post, so let’s see how it goes.
My friend just called me and the wait for Bon Chon chicken is an hour and a half. Time to meet up with my friends and hit the bars
Ok, it’s 8:40pm and I am at Bon Chon. There’s still a wait. The ambience of this place isn’t what I had expected. It has a lounge and club feel. Beyonce’s song is blasting in all directions and I am surrounded by the chatter. This …

After a long day at the NY Renaissance Festival on Saturday, me and my friends were hungry, and we did not feel like dining out. So we decided to buy groceries and dined-in instead.
I find entertaining guests to be quite fun, but when I do it, I like to plan the events in advance. This time, it was rather spontaneous, but it wasn’t difficult to think of what to cook, as me and my friends already had something in mind. So what’s my point? Always keep some recipes in your …

While I was stocking up on groceries at Whole Foods, there was a new section that sold farm fresh eggs, not just any eggs, but pheasant eggs, duck eggs, quail eggs, and the ginormous ostrich eggs. I had never seen an ostrich egg in real life before, it’s pretty awesome. The time is 12.05 am and I am lying on my sofa, listening to songs by Fergie and reading Ugly Americans by Ben Mezrich. My stomach suddenly grumbles and the first reaction was to reach for the cabinets for some snacks. As the cabinet doors swing open, I found a bag of Kirkland signature Fruit and Nut Medley which I bought from Costco. I had found the solution to subdue my grumbling stomach
My favorites among the mixed goodies are bananas, pineapples and mangoes. They make perfect snacks as they are …

I added a “About Us” section to the menu bar. The readers should at least know who’s doing the blogging and the cooking. You’re probably wondering how much cooking experience we have and if we know what we’re doing in the kitchen. In all honesty, half the time we really do not know what we’re doing, and that’s the part that makes cooking so much fun.

When I eat a heavy dinner, I tend to sleep very well. And when I sleep well, I dream about all sorts of craziness. The best dreams always occur between 5:30AM and 6:00AM. Disappointment often arises when a great dream gets interrupted by the always loathed, but often appreciated alarm clock, and this time around, it was no different.
I was at a large vendor cart that was about the length and width of a typical passenger car. It was stainless steel throughout and it had rubber wheels at all four …
