Start Your Morning Right With Bacon and Egg T-Shirts

For you sloppy eaters, you probably end up wearing your food after a meal.  But what about the rest of us?  While we might not want to get food all over our clothes, having pictures of our beloved breakfast items might be the next best thing.  Nixon has stepped up to the plate in providing us breakfast and food lovers with egg and bacon T-shirts.  The picture of the egg seems a bit of overkill as it takes up 50% of the front of the t-shirt.  The bacon t-shirt on …

Replace Your Leather Briefcase With A Bacon Briefcase

Forget leather bags and briefcases, the meat is where it’s at. Although they’re not available for purchase, I bet the company would make a lot of cash if it did decide to put these items on the market. The bacon briefcase says, “I love bacon, but I’m also serious about my work, now let’s get down to business…and by the way, my briefcase is way more badass than yours”

Serve Your Wine At The Right Temperature!

To fully enjoy the aroma and flavors of wine, it has to be served at the optimal temperature.  But most of us don’t have a way to gauge a wine’s temperature before it’s served.  Sticking a cooking thermometer into a bottle of wine isn’t very classy, so that’s where the Wine Bottle Thermometer from Crate & Barrel comes in to save the day.

It’s a stainless steel thermometer that wraps around a 750ml wine bottle that indicates the wine temperature.  A reference guide of wine types are also printed on …

Pepsi Natural And A Throwback To The Past

I haven’t had soda in a good three years or more, and I don’t miss it. Still, the new products from Pepsi’s pipeline has got me intrigued.  Pepsi Corp is releasing three new products, Pepsi Throwback, Mountain Dew Throwback, and Pepsi Natural.  All of the products contain natural sugar, instead of the controversial high fructose corn syrup.

From the Pepsi Natural press release:
An all-new premium cola, Pepsi Natural is made with all-natural ingredients, including lightly sparkling water, natural sugar, natural caramel and kola nut extract. The amber-hued cola gets its …

Temple Street Night Market, Hong Kong

I didn’t find anything worth purchasing at the Temple Street Night Market in Hong Kong, but I did happen to come across some items that sparked my interest.

I almost bought this hamburger phone, but then I remembered that I don’t have a land line. Darn.

Cracker lighters.  Took me a while to figure out how to turn it on.

Foam bread.  Softer than the real thing, but I had no idea what purpose they served.  Mouse wrist pads perhaps?

Key chains.  Do not ingest.

Bacon cell phone leashes.  Too bad my iPhone doesn’t have …

Tropicana’s New Packaging: Fail

By STUART ELLIOTT
Published: February 22, 2009
New York Times – IT took 24 years, but PepsiCo now has its own version of New Coke.
The PepsiCo Americas Beverages division of PepsiCo is bowing to public demand and scrapping the changes made to a flagship product, Tropicana Pure Premium orange juice. Redesigned packaging that was introduced in early January is being discontinued, executives plan to announce on Monday, and the previous version will be brought back in the next month.
Also returning will be the longtime Tropicana brand symbol, an orange from which …

Snapple Gets A New Wardrobe, Leaves HFCS For Sugar

Snapple beverages are going through a bit of surgery.  Those recognizable labels that we have grown to love are hitting the road, giving way to a hipper, more modern look.  Externally, the bottles will be changing shape to better fit cup holders and the labels will be revamped with new fonts and color schemes.
Perhaps the most significant change is in the formula.  The company will be replacing the high fructose corn syrup with sugar.  I’m not sure of what the reason for the change is.  Maybe it’s due to the …
