Besides Saint Patrick’s Day, there’s another reason to kick back and relax with a pint (or two) of Guinness today, 2009 is the 250th anniversary of Guinness!
Here’s the way to do Guinness right!
1. The bartender tilts a Guinness glass and fills it up to the bottom of the harp on the glass, about 3/4 full, by pulling the tap towards the body. The perfect pour should be exactly 119.5 seconds. No more, no less.

This year’s Mother’s Day falls on May 11, 2008. This Saturday, I am planning to bring my parents to a steak house near my house for dinner. I will also buy my mom a fruit basket arrangement from EdibleArrangements.com. They have tons of selections and I personally think that a fruit basket is an ideal gift for her. The fruits are beautifully arranged and the difference between a flower bouquet and a fruit basket arrangement is that the fruits are edible. What a better way to finish up dinner at a steak house than with a fruit basket!
