From Malaysia with love….
After countless frustration with the internet - which I will spare the details, I have finally been able to post my first post on Malaysian food. The other night, I went clubbing at this cub named Poppy. It was not too bad. The complaints I have were that, it is not smoke free (cough cough) and the girls are not too friendly =/
After the club we went to look for food and guess what we found. We found the best “after-party” food - Mamak! In New York we would have Chicken and Rice, Falafel or Chinatown. In Malaysia, it would have to be the Mamak Stalls (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mamak_stall)
We ordered Roti Canai (pronounced as Cha- Nai) and Mee Goreng (Fried Noodle).

Roti canai is the Malaysian version of the pancake. The main ingredients are flour, sugar and vegetable oil. It is simply eaten with a dip in the curry sauce that comes with it.

The mee goreng is just fried noodle which the noodle is actually indo mee - Malaysian instant ramen. The dish is topped with a nicely prepared sunny side up - simply delicious! Until my next post, keep eating, living and playing hard!
