The New York Times published an article regarding high mercury levels in tuna sushi.
We’ve known about the high mercury levels in canned tuna, but this definitely hits the heart. If you are a sushi lover like I am, you’re probably wondering if it is safe to keep on eating tuna sushi on a regular basis. My favorite cut of tuna is the one from the lower betty, also known as otoro. Does this mean I’m going stop eating tuna sushi? Not at all! But I am considering spacing out my sushi dinners farther apart from this point on.
