Greetings dear faithful readers of FoodieFixation. It’s been a while. In fact, it’s been two months since my last post. I have been busy with work and I was infected with the L disease. L for Love? Not quite, but L for lazy for sure. You can’t blame me for getting the Summer bug of not wanting to stay indoors. Apart from that, I have been eating out more often and last Wednesday, I went to a Cuban restaurant and I must say, it was pretty good. Cabana is chain of Cuban Restaurants, with its original location in Forest Hills and the others in New York City Area and in Palm Beach, FL.

I ordered the Paella Valenciana, which consists of shrimp, clams, mussels, chicken and chorizo simmered with saffron and garlic in a caldera of Valencia rice. Their Red Sangria is also highly recommended. The next time you go out for dinner, give Cabana a try and you will be happy with the quality, affordability, and choices.

Here’s to good food, wine, and great company!
