During this past weekend’s Memorial Day excursion at Lakeville, Connecticut, there was a bag of Tostitos tortilla chips on the ping beer pong table. It must have been years since I’ve had a chip of any kind. I tried to resist, but I caved. After the first bite, a rush of lime flavor overtook my palette. Delicious. As I finished up the rest of the chip, I went to look at the bag. “Hint of Lime” is the flavor and I wouldn’t have minded using these chips as chasers for the Cuervo tequila shots that I took in the evening. I’ll take 2 bags please.
