Before the start of my weekend shift on the execution of a project I was managing at work, I was able to squeeze in some time early Saturday afternoon to attend the 9th Avenue International Food Festival that was held between 37th and 57th streets. The weather conditions were exemplary. The sun was was shining brighht and it was accompanied by a light breeze.
This is a type of event to go with a group of people. When you’re by yourself or with another person, you can get full rather quickly. The worst part is you get so stuffed from just a few dishes that there’s no room left to try anything else! The advantage of going with a group is that everyone gets to sample the food by sharing. I didn’t have any room left for dessert. The crepes, cookies, and pies were all so tempting, but I was at my limit. Bummer.

Let the eating begin!

So that’s where Babe went.

Sausages

Clams on the halfshell

Greek burgers

Crepes

White corn arepa w/ beef, beans, and green sauce

Ribs from Spanky’s

I could use one of these.

This

Plus this

Equals this.
