Sashimied Out

Is ’sashimied’ even a word? Regardless, you probably know what I mean. I went on a day trip to Delhi in upstate New York yesterday to visit my uncle, aunt, and cousins. It was my second time visiting them up there in 27 years, the first time being 10 years old or so. I thought that we were all going to have dinner at my uncle’s house, but in fact, he took us to this Japanese restaurant for dinner. It’s called Tuna 3 and it is located in Delhi, New York on 82 Main Street. I got to talk to the chefs and I was watching them prepare sushi and kitchen food. Of course, they gave me a few pointers on making some Japanese food, which was awesome. I think it was the most sashimi I had ever eaten in one sitting. The seafood was fresh and I was full by the time the main course started.

Salmon from the belly portion of the fish, it’s very fatty and very flavorful.  It’s very good!
