I was at the market the other day and I was looking for a quart of the Stonyfield Farms Organic Nonfat Vanilla Yogurt. Unfortunately, they didn’t have the nonfat variety in stock, so I went for the fat-free version instead. I never enjoyed fat-free yogurt, and it was my first time trying a fat-free yogurt product from this brand. As expected, I didn’t like it. It’s just not the same without a little bit of fat. I didn’t want to waste the yogurt in the bowl, so I raided my fridge looking for something to jazz up it up a bit. I found an open can of light coconut milk and there was about a tablespoon’s worth left inside. Holding the can in my hand, I thought, “How bad could it be? The yogurt is creamy, and so is the coconut milk.” I emptied the contents of the can into the yogurt and stirred. After some hesitation, I took a taste. It tasted good. Coconut milk, always a wise decision!
