Last year, I was addicted to an after work snack of cake rusk and milk tea. It was a ritual of one of my roommates and I joined in on his tradition.
He told me it was a popular combination in India and that it was one of the things he enjoyed most after coming home from work. Oh, the little things that make us happy, isn’t that what life is about?
I no longer have this snack, as I’ve cut out sugary and white flour products from my diet, and recently, dairy. I still remember those 15 heavenly minutes of relaxing and cooling down with some milk tea and cake rusk after a long day of work. It’s 15 minutes of zen.
