I’ve managed to ween myself off of cow milk. I stopped drinking milk because I think it’s been causing the breakouts on my skin. Ever since I stopped drinking milk for the past couple of weeks, my skin has been clearer. I’ve been experimenting with different brands of soy milk to fill the void, but my throat would always itch after I have a glass. I was at the market today and while I was perusing the different brands of soy milk, my attention went over to the rice milk section. At that point, I decided to give rice milk a try.

I bought the ‘Good Karma’ Vanilla Flavored Organic Ricemilk. The flavor is extremely light and it has the consistency of water. It reminds me of the cloudy water that comes from washing the brown rice I cook. How do I like it? I’m sticking with it as it doesn’t make my throat itch. I think I found my milk replacement.

The ricemilk is made from whole-grain organic brown rice and all of the company’s products are touted to be: organic, dairy-free, soy free, vegan, lactose-free, kosher, fat free, calcium-fortified, and are vitamin enriched.

If milk and soy milk don’t settle well with you, check out ricemilk!
