I came across this product on a news site and I looked it up. Could this be the pomegranate juice killer? At $37.50 a bottle, it doesn’t look like it, but the site does boast health benefits from the juice that is derived from the mangosteen fruit.
From the website, Xango.com:
XanGo® Juice boasts a proprietary whole–fruit formula, harnessing a concentrated rush of xanthones—a vigorous family of next–generation phytonutrients. Sounds complex. But here’s the straight scoop. Research shows xanthones possess potent antioxidant properties that may help maintain intestinal health, strengthen the immune system, neutralize free radicals, help support cartilage and joint function, and promote a healthy seasonal respiratory system.
I’m definitely willing to give this juice a try. Not for the health benefits, but from my curiosity of what mangosteen juice tastes like. I don’t know about you, but filling xanthones and phytonutrients in my body sounds bad ass.
