I always have either a bag of oranges or grapefruit in my fridge. I also keep lemons and limes around for zesting and enhancing flavor on some of my dishes from time to time. An article on RealSimple.com provides some advice and detail on buying, storing, and preparing grapefruit, clementines, and lemons. I didn’t know lemons lasted 3 weeks in the refridgerator. I usually use up my lemons in a week, but it’s good to know I can buy more now and not worry about them going bad in a short period of time.
